NEXUS: VIRTUAL LC – Nexus is a virtual space that mimics the collaborative nature of a Learning Commons. Students join tables where they can ask questions and work together on a shared whiteboard. Regardless of location, your Learning Commons tutors can provide assistance to students through Nexus.

  • TUTOR.COM – Tutor.com is a fully online tutoring service. You can get a tutor 24/7 in  more than 40 subjects  including Math, Science, Social Studies, English, AP ® Support, Foreign Languages and Business. Tutoring sessions take place in our easy-to-use online classroom, which runs in your web browser.
  • GRAMMARLY – Grammarly’s AI-powered products help people communicate more effectively. Millions of users rely on Grammarly every day to make their messages, documents, and social media posts clear, mistake-free, and effective.

STUDENT SUCCESS TIPS – Whether you’re new to college or just need to brush up on your skills, check out our study tips.

ACADEMIC ADVISING – An advisor will help you determine which courses to take to earn the degree or certificate of your choice, and if your goal is to transfer to a four year college or university, our advisors will help you with that too.

COWS – The Center for Online Writing Support (COWS) is a free service available to all students currently enrolled in English courses at Ivy Tech-Bloomington. The COWS is staffed by Ivy Tech English faculty who teach Composition courses. You simply submit your papers via email and we will respond within 48 hours with suggestions on how to improve your essay.

IVYASSIST – Designed to plug people in to the vast (but sometimes confusing) social services network so that they can find what they need – resources can be located on campus or anywhere in the US. Students will only need to enter their zip code to start searching the network.
